|RESPITE: The CASA Toolkit Page: Documentation: Block Library Index:Upsample|
Upsample will upsample the input signal by an integer factor. `Upsampling' by a factor, n, is achieved by simply repeating each sample or frame n times. No interpolation or filtering is performed. There are two ways of setting the degree of upsampling, either using the MULTIPLE parameter or using the OUTPUT_RATE parameter. Only one of these should be set. Using MULTIPLE directly sets the factor by which to upsample i.e. if it is set to 3 then every sample or frame will be repeated 3 times. Alternatively, using OUTPUT_RATE sets the desired output rate. In this case, an integer upsampling factor will be selected automatically so that the actual output sample rate matches the desired rate as closely as possible.
|Inputs||Meaning||Sample||1-D frame||2-D frame|
|out1||data at higher sampling rate|
|MULTIPLE||Integer||-||The upsampling factor|
|OUTPUT_RATE||Float||-||The desired output rate|
