Registration

Thanks to the generosity of our sponsor Google, the workshop will be free to attend.

Due to space constraints there will be a limited number of seats available per institutions with preference given to challenge participants. If you are among the first 40 people to register, we will confirm your registration in the next few days. Otherwise, we will confirm it shortly after the challenge submission deadline on August 19.

In order to avoid holding seats for people who eventually do not attend, we will contact you again early September and ask you to confirm your registration.

Travel grants

Thanks to the generosity of our sponsor Google, we will provide 7 travel grants of US$ 200 each. These grants are meant for students and young scientists (age < 35). Exceptionally, researchers in special situations like unemployment or coming from low income-level countries may also apply.

To apply, please send the following documents to chimechallenge@gmail.com by June 24 as soon as possible:

  • your CV,
  • a proof of your student status,
  • a cover letter stating whether you plan to enter the CHiME-4 challenge and/or submit a paper to the workshop.

We will notify successful applicants by July 1 on a first come first served basis and transfer the money after the workshop.
